You’ll get personalized service from members of our team covering all of Southern California. Deliveries will be made with our specialized Tau truck, designed to keep your product safe and secure while in route. And we’ll ensure precise and timely delivery while saving you unnecessary shipping costs. Ordering and receiving from Tau has never been easier.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the lead time for orders?
In stock items are available for immediate delivery and orders usually ship within 1-3 days .
Out of stock items and special ordered items have a lead time of approximately 8-10 weeks.
How much is the shipping cost?
Freight charges will be calculated per order using the most economical method. Generally speaking orders will ship via common carrier so filling an entire pallet will be the most economical.
For Southern California orders, we offer a direct-to-door delivery service using one of our specialized Tau trucks.
Our sales team can provide more details and an advanced quote in order for actual costs to be considered.
Which items are in stock?
To view our current stock simple register for a Trade account on our website then login to view our current inventory. Online availability updated daily and is subject to change without notice.
Is there an MOQ?
No, there is no minimum order quantity.

How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed by emailing sales@taumanufacturing.com or by submitting a request for quote on our website.
How are you products packaged?
This is of the utmost importance to us. All products are packaged individually, meaning one planter within one carton. Our products are packaged in a reinforced cardboard box with honeycomb sheets on all 6 sides to protect it during shipping.
What are the payment terms?
Orders must be fully paid prior to shipment. We accept ACH and bank transfers. If you wish to pay by credit card, we will email you a secure link to pay your invoice.
Do you charge sales tax?
We are registered in Florida and California, which means we are obligated to collect sales tax in either state for any order picked up or shipped within those states. If you have a resellers permit please email it to sales@taumanufacturing.com and we will remove the sales tax. For all other orders shipped outside of these two states, we do not charge sales tax.
Can I order any color from the website?
Generally speaking we can make almost any of our products in any of the finishes and colors on our website and in our Finishes Guide with very few exceptions.
Do your planters have drainage holes?
Stocked items do not come with pre-drilled drainage holes. For customers who pre-order pots from the factory we can drill drainage holes for you at no additional charge. If you plan to use your pots outdoors you will need to endure they have proper drainage in them.
Do you have product specification sheets?
Yes, we offer product specification sheets for all of our products. You must be a registered user of our website to download the spec sheets.
Do you offer product image cut-outs?
Yes, registered users of our website are able to download .png files for each of the products in a variety of colors. These images are available for customers to use in soliciting sales and quoting. They are not able to be used on websites and for print/online marketing. If you would like to use our product images on your website please speak with our sales team.
